After several years of engineering and manufacturing phase, the Bilfinger Noell GmbH delivered the superconducting PERC magnet system to the Research Neutron Source Heinz Maier-Leibnitz (FRM II) at the Technical University of Munich.

"We are proud to have once again designed and manufactured a key component for science in the field of particle physics," said Eckhard Theisen, Bilfinger Noell project manager.

PERC is a new experiment in the field of low-energy particle physics at the FRM-II.
